Spiritual Abuse

Spiritual abuse includes degrading the woman's spiritual beliefs, withholding the means to practice, and/or forcing adherence to a particular belief system.

Examples Include:

• forcing you to go to Church
• forcing religious ceremonies
• denying you your right to participate in spiritual practices
• forcing you to read the bible or other religious books
• forcing you to change your traditions due to his spiritual beliefs
